This welding method is widely used in locomotive manufacturing in developed countries such as Europe, the United States and Japan and has become one of the important technologies for manufacturing new high-end locomotives.

  "The research on this project has many meanings. It not only has broad application prospects in the market, but also if the successful R & D will fill the gaps in the domestic market and get rid of the monopoly of foreign equipment, it will promote the development of the entire locomotive production industry in China." The imported equipment is expensive, usually 4 million -800 million. At the same time, the cost of repair service is high, and the annual service fee is about 10% of the equipment price. This directly increases the locomotive manufacturing cost in our country and limits the competitiveness of locomotive manufacturing in the international market.

  Kuang Lian-ting, deputy director of Wenzhou Science and Technology Bureau, said that the project was forward-looking and believed that technological breakthroughs could be achieved through the powerful combination of Pentium and other units. At the same time, he also suggested that as soon as possible to determine the focus of the project and the design of the big framework, we must first focus on provinces and major scientific and technological special applications, and thus the pursuit of national awards breakthroughs, step by step.

  This demonstration, five units agreed to participate in research and development, the next step will be for further research and development, testing, technology research and further communication.
